Intro
Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) is a state of the art, purpose-built £1.2 million unit.
The SDEC unit brings together a single assessment area for patients referred to GEH via GPs and patients who present to the Emergency Department who can potentially be treated same day via unplanned ambulatory care pathways.

The unit is operational between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday and 7.30am-15.30pm on weekends.
Location: Temporarily located on the ground floor next to Dorothea Unit 2023.
