Our staff aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible. While you're here, if you have any queries or concerns, please don't hesitate to speak to a member of staff.

We have changed the way we book follow-up appointments so we can reduce unnecessary visits to hospital, reduce patient waiting times and see more patients on time. We expect the new process will be easier and more convenient for you and also lower the number of missed appointments.

If you require a follow up appointment within six weeks, we will tell you your appointment date either before you leave the clinic on the day, or within two weeks.

If you require a follow up appointment after six weeks, we will write to you four weeks before your expected appointment date, asking that you contact our Outpatients Call Centre on 02476 865050 to arrange an appointment at a time that suits you. You can also telephone us if you don’t need another appointment.

You will not need to do anything until you receive a letter from us asking you to call.  You will need to contact us within three weeks of the date of our letter.

What if I do not contact the hospital within three weeks?

If you do not telephone us to arrange your appointment within three weeks of the date on your invitation letter, your doctor will review your care and may discharge you back to your GP.  If this is the case, then we will write to you and your GP to explain this.
