Singing For Breathing is a free workshop aimed at patients who experience breathlessness, particularly those who suffer from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), asthma and heart problems.

The workshops are run by the Respiratory service at the hospital, and supplement existing support provided to patients.

Those who attend are given coaching and a better understanding of breath control by singing in a group setting. Participants are expertly guided and the attendees have seen great results, so much so that staff at the hospital are encouraging even more people to come along.

The fortnightly workshops take place in the hospital chapel and are held between 1:30pm and 2:30pm.

You do not need to book in advance but, if you would like more information, please contact 024 7615 3725. For directions to the chapel, ask at the reception.
