Minor Oculoplastics – offering eyelid and lacrimal procedures including syringing of tear ducts, Meibomian cyst/chalazion removal, eyelid lesions, and insertion of punctal plugs for punctual plugs)
YAG Laser Capsulotomy – a small proportion of patients who undergo cataract surgery will see opacification of the posterior lens capsule, this prevents light reaching the retina. The procedure restores clear vision; usually one appointment with no follow-up.
Diagnostics:
Optical coherence tomography (OCT)
Biometry – used to calculate the power of intraocular lens (IOL) implants required for cataract surgery
Visual Fields – used to detect dysfunction in central and peripheral vision
