The hospital has two Pharmacy dispensaries:
- Main Pharmacy – this is located on the ground floor of the maternity building
- SWFT Clinical Services (Outpatient pharmacy) – this is located in the main outpatient department
Each Pharmacy provides different services to the hospital. See below for further information.
Main Pharmacy
The main pharmacy is responsible for the supply of medication for the following:
- Inpatient medication
- Ward stock
- Discharge medication
- Chemotherapy medication
- Clinical Trials
- Outpatient prescriptions (Weekends and bank holidays only)
- A&E/Urgent care/CAU prescriptions (Weekends and bank holidays only)
Outpatient Pharmacy
SWFT clinical services are responsible for the supply of medication to patients who have been seen in the Outpatient or Emergency department, SDEC, Dorothea, Urgent Care and Childrens Assessment unit. The Outpatients pharmacy is open on weekdays only.

Monday- Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm
Weekends and bank holidays (excluding Christmas day) 9:00-5:00pm
