A pilot of our new innovative MyCare in Warwickshire Patient Portal will launch this month at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust.
The portal will be piloted across the Oral Surgery and Ear, Nose & Throat medical specialties, and will enable patients who have an upcoming appointment with these specialties to digitally view their appointment letter and details in the portal.
The portal is an online system that can be accessed anywhere, 24/7, using a secure username and password, and aims to improve the patient experience by offering a ‘digital first’ option that enables speedier communication between the patient and the Trust.
Patients can currently view appointment letters in the portal and choose to go paperless for future letters. Further functionality will be added gradually over the coming months and years, including the option to change or cancel appointments.
