Coventry and Warwickshire healthcare system partners are proud to announce that the Coventry and Warwickshire Newly Qualified Recruitment Collaboration has been shortlisted for Collaborative Excellence in Integrated and System-Wide Care at the RLDatix Awards Europe 2025.

These awards recognise health and care professionals and teams driving improvements in care quality, patient safety and workforce effectiveness.

The Coventry and Warwickshire Newly Qualified Recruitment Collaboration was recognised during judging for its impact and commitment to improvement.

The initiative introduced a centralised recruitment and placement process for Newly Qualified Nurses across five NHS organisations; Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust, George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust, South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust, University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust and the Coventry and Warwickshire GP Alliance alongside Coventry University.

By creating a single application portal, coordinating allocations, and aligning communication, the collaboration has improved student experience, reduced last-minute withdrawals, and supported safer staffing across the system.

Paul Sanders, President UK&I, RLDatix, said: “Congratulations to Coventry and Warwickshire System Partners on your shortlist for the Collaborative Excellence in Integrated and System-Wide Care Award.

“The work behind the Coventry and Warwickshire Newly Qualified Recruitment Collaboration shows what can be achieved when teams are committed to making care safer and better for everyone.

“It is a privilege to recognise your work, and we look forward to celebrating with you in October.”
