The DAISY Award is an international recognition program that honours extraordinary nurses and midwives who go above and beyond to provide exceptional care and compassion to patients and their families. It celebrates the skill, kindness, and dedication nurses bring to their vital work every day.

Nicola’s kindness, professionalism, and compassion have profoundly touched multiple families during some of their most challenging moments. Through three heartfelt nominations, it’s clear Nicola goes above and beyond — offering comfort, dignity, and support when it’s needed most.

The nominations shared how Nicola cared for patients loved one with deep respect and supported them through unimaginable loss. Praising her honest communication and compassionate gestures that brought much-needed solace. Nicola’s dedication is a shining example of what nursing truly means.
