Living in the area

Nuneaton is a lively town with a market and shopping centre and has a population of 80,000. It is famous for its association with George Eliot, the 19th century novelist who was born on the Arbury Estate just outside Nuneaton and lived here for much of her early life.

Bedworth is a market town in North Warwickshire, located between Nuneaton and Coventry. The town has a population of 32,000.

The area of North Warwickshire is mainly rural with several small towns including Atherstone, Coleshill, Polesworth and Kingsbury. Over half of the borough is green belt. There is a good supply of housing often in pleasant rural surroundings yet within easy reach of major towns and cities. Houses are generally more affordable than elsewhere in the country.

Hinckley is a market town in southwest Leicestershire, situated on the border with Warwickshire.

Coventry is the nearest major city to Nuneaton and is located in the West Midlands county. With a population of 317,000, it is the 12th largest city in the UK and the second largest in the West Midlands.
