Local community groups are being given the opportunity to quiz members of the George Eliot Hospital executive team about plans for the hospital’s future
As the Trust continues its search for a strategic partner to secure a sustainable future for the hospital and local health care services, Trust executives are keen that as many people as possible have their opinions heard.
Members of the hospital’s executive team are available to visit any community group meetings in the local area upon request, to discuss the future of the hospital along with any other issues or concerns people may have.
George Eliot Hospital Chief Executive, Kevin McGee (picture above), said: “It is a time of great change for the George Eliot and the NHS as a whole. We’re working hard to ensure that the hospital and the services it provides are sustainable and meet the needs of the local community in the long-term. Whichever route the hospital decides to take, it is important that we engage with and have the support of local people.”
