George Eliot Hospital has announced the appointment of Natalie Green as its Chief Nursing Officer.
Natalie brings 15 years’ experience of nursing management working in various parts of the country but latterly, working at deputy level at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.
Natalie said: “I have had the privilege to lead many fantastic teams through several innovative development changes, involving nurses and midwives through quality improvement and shared decision making to achieve the highest standards of care. I am passionate about empowering teams to make meaningful change for patients, their families and staff and I am delighted to join George Eliot Hospital. I look forward to being at the forefront of an organisation encouraging their staff to excel, to implement improvement changes and to influence the future of the profession to deliver excellence in care.”
Welcoming the appointment, George Eliot Hospital’s Medical Director Dr Catherine Free said: “Natalie was appointed from a strong field of candidates, and we look forward to her joining our Executive Leadership Team. Her passion for excellence in nursing care and her strong leadership experience will be of huge benefit to our patients. George Eliot Hospital has taken huge steps forward recently as we strive for excellence and we are delighted to have Natalie on board.”
Natalie takes up her role on 1 August.
