The League of Friends has provided £5,700 to purchase three new couches for the Cardio Respiratory Department at the George Eliot Hospital. The Echocardiography couches have adjustable height, tilt and backrest angle to fully support the patients and include a specially designed stool for the staff to sit on during the examinations.
This purchase is possible because of the continuing support of the League of Friends’ volunteers who run the Cafes at the Hospital generating funds used to purchase equipment.
