George Eliot Hospital NHS trust is a totally Smokefree site which means that smoking is not allowed on any part of the hospital grounds.
This policy is based on NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) guidelines and the Trust’s commitment to the reduction of health harm from tobacco.

Still smoking when you come to hospital?
If you are still smoking when you come to hospital you will be provided with stop smoking medication so you can manage without cigarettes during your hospital stay. You will also be offered help to quit for good.
