George Eliot Hospital Breast Cancer Team is inviting anyone who has had breast cancer to a new regular walking group called ‘Walk & Talk’ to share advice and experiences in Riversley Park.
Breast Care Nursing Specialists will be hosting their walking group in Riversley Park, Nuneaton between 1.30pm and 2.30pm from 15th September 2015. After that first date the group will meet regularly every Tuesday outside the Nuneaton Museum Cafe.
The George Eliot Hospital Breast Care team know that talking about breast cancer with their specialist team and other patients can make breast cancer patients feel more confident and better supported. Exercise and keeping fit can have a positive effect on the health and wellbeing of everyone.
Breast Care Nurse, Annette Tracey said: "Just knowing there are others in the same situation, who have been through breast cancer and through the same anxieties, really does help.
"We hope that old and new patients will come along to our new group to share problems, experiences or just talk to others in an informal setting.
The Breast Care Team is looking forward to meeting anyone that has had Breast Cancer at their free new group.
