Members of the local community, who have received care at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust, are invited to join our Patient Safety team at a special event to give feedback on the service they received at the hospital.
A ‘Patient Kitchen Table Event’ will take place on Saturday 29th July from 11am -1pm in the George Eliot Training and Education Centre (GETEC) Building at George Eliot Hospital.
The event is being held as part of the national ‘Sign Up to Safety’ campaign which aims to strengthen patient safety by listening to patients and carers to help improve services.
Director of Nursing, Michelle Norton and senior staff will be on hand to take face to face feedback from everyone that attends. Alternatively, anyone can pop in and leave feedback anonymously via postcards.
Tea, coffee and cakes will be available for everyone who attends the event.
Claire Hayward, Head of Patient Safety and Mortality at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust, said: “We would like to invite patients and carers to share their personal experience of the care they received at the George Eliot, to help us in our journey of continuous improvements in patient care.”
“Join us for a cup of tea and a chat any time between 11am and 1pm on Saturday 29th July and tell us about your experience at George Eliot, so that we can enhance services and ultimately the care and safety of all our families in the future .”
