A choir formed from people who are overcoming their breathing difficulties through song will be putting on their summer concert next week.
The Singing for Breathing group at George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton is hosting their seasonal show on Tuesday, July 12, which will be held in the George Eliot Hospital Chapel between 7pm and 9pm.
The free performance is open to anyone experiencing breathlessness and their family and friends.
Singing for Breathing is aimed at patients who experience breathlessness, particularly those who suffer from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma and heart problems.
They have fun yet practical workshops each month, which are run by the physiotherapy service at the hospital, and supplement existing support provided to patients. Those who attend are given coaching and a better understanding of breath control by singing in a group setting.
