The George Eliot Hospital’s 25th Annual Service of Remembrance will take place on Sunday 1st February at 3pm.
The event, being held in the Chapel at the George Eliot Hospital on College Street, Nuneaton and is for anyone who has suffered the loss of a baby or child during pregnancy or after birth whether their loss is a recent one or a long time ago.
This is a simple service of remembrance and all are welcome whether family, friends or members of Hospital staff.
Reverend Ricarda Witcombe, Chaplaincy Team Leader said “Many people find it a helpful and healing service, giving a place to honour these brief lives that have touched and shaped our own lives often more than words can say.
It gives those that want it, the opportunity to talk to others who have similar experiences over a cup of tea after the service.
Attendees will also be able to meet our calligrapher who writes names and inscriptions in the books of remembrance held in the chapel.”
