George Eliot Hospital in partnership with NHS Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust, University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust and South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust is holding a half day Revalidation Workshop to support any nursing and Midwifery Council registrants in the Arden, Hereford and Worcester region on February 19 th 2016.
Revalidation is the new process that all nurses and midwives in the UK will need to follow to maintain their registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, which starts on 1 April 2016.
The event is being held at the Novotel in Coventry (M6 Junction 3, Wilson Lane, Coventry, CV6 6HL). Sessions are being held from 09.00 for 09.30 start until 12.30pm and another from 1pm for 1.30 start until 4.30pm.
Revalidation is the new straightforward process that helps nurses or midwives demonstrate that they practise safely and effectively. Nurses are required to demonstrate the ways that they are ‘living’ the standards set out in the new revalidation code of practice and are required to renew their membership every three years.
This informative half day workshop includes sessions about the revalidation process, how to get feedback to support their registration and developing a portfolio.
Participants at an earlier organised event said that these events were well put together and took the fear away from the process. They also said that it helped to make sure they were on the right track.
Lunch is provided along with the chance to network with colleagues. The session is free to attend. To book a place contact email@example.com
The event is supported by the Arden, Hereford & Worcester Local Education and Training Council & Health Education West Midlands
