Important event to raise awareness of prostate and bladder issues

Prostate Health Event

An awareness event focusing on prostate health for men and bladder weakness for women is to be held on Wednesday 30 September at the George Eliot Hospital.

Local people will have an opportunity to receive valuable advice and ask questions to the panel of expert consultantsfrom the George Eliot at this informative evening health event, which starts at 6.30pm.

Prostate and bladder issues are important and this awareness evening is open to everyone so book your place at this health event early to avoid disappointment.

The event is being held in the George Eliot Hospital Education and Training Centre. Car parking for the event will be free. Tea and Coffee is available from 6pm.

Urology Consultant, Mr Prasad said: “It is important for men over 50 up to the age of 75 to get a blood test to check their Prostate. This event will provide valuable information about prostate health and the value of getting these tests completed.”

Gynaecologist Consultant, Dr Navaneetham said: “Our event will provide valuable advice for women concerned about or experiencing bladder weakness.

Come along and find out how we can help problems associated with bladder weakness and useful tips that can help prevent this occurring.”
