A special event to share practical advice, demonstrations and individual support for women is being held on Wednesday 2 March 2016 at the George Eliot Hospital Education and Training Centre at 6.30pm.
Bladder weakness issues were discussed at a popular event last year organised by the Urology and Gynaecology Team. Participants at the event had expressed concerns about the lack of practical advice in the community for women of all ages. In particular, they asked about ways to prevent problems in later years. Experts at the George Eliot Hospital have since looked at ways to support local women and have developed this practical workshop event to help anyone interested in learning more about this very common issue.
The event is being led by Gynaecologist Consultant, Mrs Neena Navaneetham and her team of nursing specialists.
If successful the team plan to hold other events later this year.
Bladder issues are important and this practical tips and techniques evening is open to all women in Nuneaton, Bedworth, North Warwickshire and the surrounding area.
Book your place at this health event early to avoid disappointment.
The event is being held in the George Eliot Hospital Education and Training Centre. Car parking for the event will be free. Tea and Coffee is available from 6pm.
Event organiser, Jean Whittaker MBE said: “There is no need for women to suffer in silence and many women find bladder weakness an embarrassing issue.
“Our event will provide advice for all women concerned about these common issues and valuable methods to help reduce the risk of experiencing bladder weakness.” Book your place today by contacting Jean Whittaker MBE on 024 7686 5400 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
