Jenna and Jordan Groves along with their gorgeous twins Sian and Billy donated an incredible £2,450 to the Special Care Baby Unit during the official opening of the refurbished unit.
The generous couple along with their colleagues, family and friends had raised the money through a charity auction, workplace donations and at the Christening of the happy twins.
Premature babies, Sian and Billy had been born at the George Eliot Hospital twenty five weeks into mum Jenna's pregnancy. Weighing just 1lb 12oz and 1lb 11oz respectively they had spent 16 weeks in hospital including 7 weeks within the Special Care Baby Unit. Despite a few health issues after birth they are both doing really well now and enjoyed visiting the newly refurbished facilities during its official opening.
Mum, Jenna said: "It was wonderful to go on a tour of the new facilities which look fantastic.
"We wanted to make a donation to the unit which had supported us with brilliant care during a difficult time.
"We would like to thank all our family, friends and colleagues at Coventry businesses, Oakwood Financial Management, Allen Ford and Tesco at Arena Park for their support."
George Eliot Hospital Fundraising Coordinator, Jean Whittaker said: "We want to say a huge thank you to the Groves family, their friends and colleagues for this fabulous donation which will be used to buy furniture and other items for the new family room with the Special Care Baby Unit."
