George Eliot Hospital is inviting both experienced registered nurses and those students that are due to qualify soon, to an open recruitment event on Saturday, 29 April 2017 to showcase our services and the exciting developments and opportunities available to our nurses.
Attendees will be offered a range of opportunities including visiting departments and talking with our current nurses about how we value them and their personal experience of working at George Eliot Hospital.
We will also provide valuable information alongside advice on career development and education. We are particularly interested in recruiting to our vibrant A&E, Coronary Care Unit and Acute Medical Unit. The sisters from these interesting and stimulating areas will be on hand to talk with you on the day.
The event will be held in the hospital’s Training and Education Centre (GETEC) and will run from 10am—2pm. Pre-booking is not required so please just pop along.
Michelle Norton, Director of Nursing, George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust explains: “We are inviting nurses to come and meet us, hear about our offer of support and development and join our fantastic ‘Team Eliot’ nursing teams.
“We are keen to see newly qualified nurses and showcase our impressive and dedicated professional development, preceptorship programme with bespoke rotation opportunities.
