Local fundraising group, The Teresa Noon Trust, were welcomed at the George Eliot Hospital to see new equipment purchased as a result of their fundraising entertainment nights.
The Teresa Noon Trust was established in memory of Teresa Noon, who sadly passed away last year.
Several representatives from the group visited the hospital earlier this month to see an ultrasound machine purchased through their dedication and hard work.
Teresa’s husband Trevor Noon, Bill and Sue Earp and their friends have already raised more than £15,000 to help buy equipment for the hospital through their successful charity events.
Trevor Noon said: “The George Eliot hospital supported my wife during her illness and we wanted to give something back to the hospital and help other patients at the same time by raising money in her memory.”
“We are now fundraising to buy more equipment to support other patients.”
Dorothea Ward Sister Kay Fox said: “We would like to thank Trevor and everyone involved with these events organised in Teresa’s memory, which are supporting our patients in the hospital.”
The next show for the Teresa Noon Trust is on 3 June at the Collycroft Club in Nuneaton and features a solo performance from James Allen, Ian Lloyd and also starring 'Have This', Bedworth's very own 'boy' band, featuring Trevor and his friends.
The second music show is scheduled for 16 September at The Saunders Club in Bedworth
Tickets for both shows are £6.00 and can be obtained from Bill 07933 995145 or Trev 07831 356587. ENDS
