George Eliot Hospital Nurse Consultant Wendy Preston is to trek up ‘Ben Nevis’ the largest mountain in the UK to raise money to support the British Lung Foundation.
Dedicated Wendy is the new Vice-chair of the Association of Respiratory Nurse Specialists and is looking forward to the trek on June 27 th as part of Team Breathe organised through the British Lung Foundation.
Wendy said “I am pleased to support this charity who support people with lung conditions in a variety of ways and promote lung health e.g. smoke free legislation.”
Wendy is keen to promote stop smoking services in hospitals and campaigns nationally on tobacco control.
