Baby Nicholas was the first extra special delivery to arrive on Christmas Day at George Eliot Hospital Maternity Unit.
Christmas baby Nicholas made his appearance at 3.41am weighing 7lbs 3 oz in the early hours of 25th December 2018.
Nicholas was the only baby delivered before breakfast at the maternity unit to delight his proud parents Bogdan and Andreea, who both now live in Nuneaton but originate from the seaside town of Constanta in Romania.
Tired mum Andreea Sisu said: “I am so happy. It was a long night but really beautiful when you hold and see your baby for the first time." .”
Dad, Bogdan Bulgaru said:"I was so scared but also so overjoyed that we now have our first child. I would like to thank everyone at the hospital who helped deliver Nicholas"."
The Maternity Unit and Special Care Baby Unit staff were busy looking after babies and preparing for further arrivals on Christmas day. Nicholas was delivered by Dr Chanda and Midwives Linda Edwards, Julie Simmons and Gemma Taylor.
There were four babies born on Christmas Day. Two boys and two girls.
