Volunteers from the Prince’s Trust have completed a project to improve the existing garden within the Maternity Unit at the George Eliot Hospital.
Relaxing seating, a sensory area and a soft play area for children are features of the new design project initiated by the George Eliot Hospital Arts programme.
This new space can now be enjoyed by staff, expectant mums, families, and children visiting the maternity unit.
New Head of Midwifery, Alison Talbot said:”Thank you to the Prince’s Trust for their hard work transforming the garden.
“This is a colourful and friendly environment within our maternity unit and supports our ongoing redevelopment of the Maternity Unit.”
