George Eliot Hospital Maternity Staff enjoy their own baby boom

Maternity Baby Boom

George Eliot Hospital Maternity Unit nursing staff enjoyed their own celebrations recently with several babies being born within their own families.

Babies Polly, Jayden, Theo, Jacob and Nieve visited the George Eliot with their respective mums for a group photo opportunity with their relatives who work within the maternity unit.

Midwives Steph Freestone, Carole Hemmings, Rebekah Surana and Health Care Support Worker Kate Aucott appeared with their daughters and grandchildren. Delivery Suite lead, Dawn Rees, appeared with her godchild Polly and her mum Katie.

All the beautiful babies were extremely well behaved on the day and enjoyed posing for a picture.

Head of Midwifery, Alison Talbot said: “It was lovely to see our staff enjoy their own little arrivals. It was unusual to have so many at once so we wanted to share the good news”
