A free support group has been set up for patients who have colorectal cancer and is being hosted by a team of clinical nurse specialist nurses from the George Eliot Hospital. The first meeting is being held on Tuesday 25 April from 6 -8pm in the George Eliot Hospital Training and Education Centre (GETEC).
The group aims to let patients lead the conversation giving them the opportunity to share their knowledge and to offer valuable support to each other. The frequency of the forthcoming meetings will be decided on the night by the group.
Colorectal Nurse Specialist, Louise Roberts said: “It is vitally important that colorectal cancer patients feel supported following their diagnosis.
“By coming together with others, patients can share experiences, ask questions and learn from each other so we are really pleased to be able to start the support group.”
Free Parking is available directly outside of the GETEC centre.
Please confirm your attendance and who will be coming with you with you by calling 024 7615 3126 or 0771 772 7572. Alternatively, email email@example.com
