George Eliot Hospital has recently introduced a new booking system for follow up appointments, patient letters have been sent out to those patients requiring a follow up appointment. They are asked to telephone or email to arrange their appointment within 3 weeks of receiving the letter.
The Patient Booking Service have experienced a very high volume of calls for this service and as a result we are aware callers are experiencing some delay when contacting the service. The hospital would like to offer their assurances that everything is being done to respond as quickly as possible to patients. For anyone who has not managed to get through to the service via the telephone, please email Appointments@geh.nhs.uk to request a follow up appointment. Alternatively, please try towards the end of the week when it may be easier to get through.
