A grand charity fundraising night has been organised on 10th September to help raise funds to support George Eliot Hospital’s Oncology Department.
The Teresa Noon Trust has organised the event at the Saunders Club, off Saunders Street, Bedworth on Saturday 10th September. Doors open at 7pm and tickets cost only £6.00.
The event has been organised to help raise funds to buy a portable ultrasound scanner for the hospital Oncology Department. The fund has been established in memory of dedicated fundraiser Teresa Noon, who sadly passed away earlier this year. Teresa, her husband Trevor Noon, Bill and Sue Earp and their friends had already raised more than £15,000 to help buy equipment for the hospital through other successful musical nights.
Bedworth’s Top Female Vocalist Ali, vocalist Paul Socket and Have This, Bedworth’s favourite ‘boy band’ will be the star attractions at this event. A disco will be held after the music. Everyone is welcome to come along. Tickets are selling fast.
Trevor Noon said: “The George Eliot hospital really supported my wife and we wanted to give something back to the hospital and help other patients by raising money in her memory.”
Fundraising coordinator, Jean Whittaker MBE said: “We would like to thank Trevor and everyone involved in the organisation of this event. Their hard work is really appreciated and we want to thank this local charity for continuing to raise funds in Teresa’s memory.
