Coleshill parents Anna Sturt and Ben Simmonds celebrated the birth of their son George Elliott earlier this month, at the hospital named after the famous author.
Baby George Elliott Simmonds was a special delivery at the busy maternity unit, arriving a week earlier than expected, weighing a healthy 71b 13oz on 6th September.
The couple were overjoyed with the birth of their new baby.
Dad, Ben said: We had decided to use Elliott as it is a family name and George is a strong powerful name that just seemed to go well with his middle name.
“We have spelt his name slightly differently to the famous writer but it will be a great way to remember the hospital in which he was delivered.”
Drayton Ward Manager, Sharon Gouldingay said: “We have had a few babies at the hospital called George or Eliot but not a George Eliot, so he was a very popular new arrival within the maternity unit”
