Cakes and refreshments made by staff at George Eliot Hospital helped to raise hundreds of pounds during Macmillan Coffee Morning.
Both the Mayor of Nuneaton & Bedworth and the Mayor of North Warwickshire came along to lend their support to the Macmillan team based within the hospital and the many bakers who supported the campaign.
A special cake event was held in the George Eliot Training and Education Centre and raised over £400. Staff across the hospital including Theatres, Medical Patient Services and administrative teams also held their own local cake stalls to support the event.
Mayor of Nuneaton and Bedworth, Councillor Barry Longden, his wife Mayoress Joan, the Mayor of North Warwickshire, Councillor Martin Davis and his wife Mayoress, Gill all visited the hospital to support the event and taste the treats on display.
George Eliot Hospital thanks everyone that took their time to make cakes or contribute to the Macmillan Coffee Morning including Macmillan volunteers Margo, Aphra, Linda, Dorothy and Adam.
