Members of the community are invited to find out more about the future of the George Eliot Hospital Trust at its Annual General Meeting in July.
The new chairman of the George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust, Russell Hardy is looking forward to seeing patients, visitors and colleagues at the meeting, which is to be held on Wednesday, July 17th from 6pm until 7pm.
He will be joined by his fellow trust board members including chief executive, Glen Burley, who is about to complete his first year in the role.
The meeting will report on the hospital’s financial and clinical performance and set out its future plans, sharing the hospital’s successes and how it plans to deal with future challenges, while showcasing the investment in hospital services over the last 12 months.
The George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust annual report will also be presented at the meeting. Following this there will be an open question and answer session and a chance to speak with senior staff before the event closes.
The AGM is due to take place in the George Eliot Hospital Education and Training Centre (GETEC), College Street, Nuneaton.
