George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust are pleased to announce that they will be responsible for delivering Sexual Health Services across the whole of Warwickshire with effect from 1st June 2015. The Sexual Health Services will be freely available to anyone who requests advice or an appointment, irrespective of where they reside or their personal circumstances.
The services to be delivered will include:
- GUM (Genitourinary Medicine)
- Other related Sexual Health Services including contraception
- HIV Testing
These services will be delivered across Warwickshire in local venues across the county providing contraception, basic screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections..
Patients will be able to access the service via walk-in appointment or prior appointment booking.
Services can be found on the new website www.sexualhealthwarwickshire.nhs.uk. The website contains up to date information about the services we provide, clinic information as well as a comprehensive list of Frequently Asked Questions. Appointment bookings will be available on the website from September 2015.
Julie Whittaker, Director of Community Services, said “We are delighted to be able to offer a wide variety of sexual health services across the county with effect from 1st June. Patients will be able to access our services by just walking into a service, or via the website. New venues will be announced as they become live but in the meantime service locations can be accessed via the website.”
