Rugby exhibition matches, army vehicles, live music, gladiator games and stalls will fill an exciting day of fun and games at Nuneaton Rugby Club this weekend.
Organisers have arranged the event to support stroke patients in the Felix Holt ward at George Eliot Hospital during national Stroke Awareness Month.
An inter-county rugby clash will feature Nuneaton Colts team with the Nuneaton Rugby Clubs mini’s and junior’s leading up to the main event. Army vehicles provided by 126 Field Company, bouncy castles, Korean Marshall Arts group, Kuk Sool Won, Stalls, cider tasting and gourmet bbq food will be on offer across the site for all to enjoy.
Live music will be provided by popular group Superbad during the evening which will also include a disco. Everyone is welcome to come along to the event which only costs £2 for the whole day.
Nuneaton Rugby Club Bar Manager, Diane Packer said: “We organised the event because a couple of members of the club had recently had strokes and were treated by the wonderful Felix Holt team so wanted to give something back”.
“We hope everyone will come along and have fun at this fab day out for all the family.”
The fun starts at 1pm. Entry to the event is £2 per person and those who attend are encouraged to wear purple in support of Stroke Awareness month.
