Nuneaton Town Football Club and Nuneaton Town Supporters Co-Operative joined together in the true Christmas spirit to make a fantastic donation of £250 to support George Eliot Hospital's Children's Assessment Unit this Christmas.
A cheque was presented to staff at the George Eliot Hospital by Boro' Manager Kevin Wilson, Assistant Manager, Steve Chettle and representatives from the supporters group Roger Barnes, Pete Burdett and Martin Ball. The group wanted to provide a special Christmas gift to children who unfortunately have to visit the hospital over Christmas.
George Eliot Hospital Fundraising Coordinator, Jean Whittaker MBE said: "On behalf of the hospital and Children's Assessment Unit we would like to thank the football club and their supporters.
"We express sincere thanks to everyone concerned in the donation which will help children over Christmas who visit our children's services."
