Patients, visitors, staff and local residents are invited to get into the festive spirit at the George Eliot Hospital official Christmas Tree light switch-on at 2pm on Wednesday 30th November.
Dobbies Garden Centre has very kindly donated a beautiful tree this year, complete with lights which will be installed near the main entrance of the hospital.
To celebrate the arrival of the tree the hospital will be enjoying music and carols outside the main entrance. The Deputy Mayor for Nuneaton and Bedworth, Bill Hancox will be attending the celebration and Middlemarch Junior School will be singing popular Christmas carols.
George Eliot Hospital funding coordinator, Jean Whittaker said: “On behalf of George Eliot Hospital would like to express our gratitude to Dobbies for the donation of a Christmas Tree. “We would like to especially thank Dobbies staff, including Community Champion Sue Foster and Visual Merchandiser Geraldine Makenzie, who are going to help dress the tree before its official switch-on next week. I am sure the tree will bring joy to our visitors and patients this year.”
