Lovely donation from family of Molly Hall to Alex Ward

Alex ward donation

We’d like to say thank you to the friends & family of Molly Hall who have given Alex ward staff a fantastic cheque to help buy equipment for the ward.

Sadly Molly passed away peacefully after a short illness & the family came in today to hand over £406 from collections and donations from the funeral, on what would have been her 85th birthday.

The family praised the staff in A&E, ITU and Alexandra for the dignity and respect provided to their mother. They especially wanted to thank the ‘amazing’ Alex staff for their support to both Molly and the family.

Son John said: "Our mother was treated with dignity and respect, as were we as a family. We can never thank the team enough for everything they did for our mother and us as a family."

Alex staff intend to use the funding to buy a television for one of the side rooms in the ward .
