Families planning to have a baby or women in the early stages of pregnancy can visit the maternity unit for a free friendly tour with our dedicated team of midwives.
New early bird tours are aimed at anyone thinking about having a baby in the future or undecided about where to have their baby.
Tours will include a walk around the delivery suite and a discussion about all the options available at the George Eliot hospital. Experienced midwives will also be able to answer any questions about having a baby at the George Eliot Hospital.
Tours are scheduled for the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month at 13:00pm. Please contact 024 7615 3002 between 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday to book a place.
George Eliot Hospital Maternity Matron, Cheryl Thomas said: “Our brand new early bird tours aim to showcase our amazing facilities at the George Eliot, including our recently refurbished delivery suite and state of the art water birthing rooms.
“Anyone planning a baby, in the very early stages of their pregnancy or undecided about where to deliver their baby can come along for one of our tours.”
