The ‘Barrow Boys’ fruit and veg stall at the George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust is helping take the Christmas shopping pressure off by allowing the people of Nuneaton to pre-order their hand-picked fruit and veg.
The stall, initiated by the George Eliot Hospital Wellbeing Group and opened in April 2014, can be found by the main entrance to the Hospital.
The stall will be open for business, as normal, each day until 24th Dec when the shop will shut at 12pm so just fill in an order form and collect at leisure
Following the festive break, the stall will be re-opening on Monday, January 11th 2015.
Andrew Lancaster, Co-Owner of the Barrow Boys said ‘From red onions to red apples, from mushrooms to monkey nuts, we have all the fresh produce customers need for the festive season. After the success of last Christmas we have this year introduced a selection of Christmas Wreaths too.’
The order form can be collected from the stall at the hospital or downloaded from the George Eliot website http://www.geh.nhs.uk/visitors/barrow-boys/. Alternatively there is the option to ring-in your order over the telephone by contacting Andrew 07891 563821 or Paul 07801 323035.
All customers who have sent in an order form will receive a text to tell them that their Christmas fresh food package is ready for collection. All major debit/credit cards are accepted.
