Carriageway Resurfacing – D1939 Eliot Way, Nuneaton

Works to resurface the carriageway on the D1939 Eliot Way, Nuneaton, are programmed for 25 April 2018, and are due to last for 6 nights, not including the weekends.  The works will be carried out under a road closure between the hours of 10pm and 6am each night and the road will be open to traffic each morning.

The main access to George Eliot Hospital from the A444 will be closed to all persons during the works. Access will be via Heath End Road (signage will be on the roads around the site to this effect) and visitor car parks will be available outside or opposite the maternity building. All visitor car parks will be open from 6am to 9:30pm.

We have attached a plan showing the extents. Access to properties/businesses within the site will be maintained where possible.  Local businesses have been informed.

Warwickshire County Council’s contractor, Balfour Beatty, will be undertaking these works.  The Contractors workforce will be on site to signpost visitors if required.

There will inevitably be some disruption to residents/businesses, but every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum.

If during the works you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the contractor’s Surfacing Manager who will be in a position to deal with your concerns directly. He can be contacted on this telephone number 07837 319 323.
