Enjoyable festive carol service held in George Eliot Hospital Chapel
The festive service led by Reverend Ricarda Witcombe was enjoyed by over 60 local residents, patients, volunteers and staff this week.
The traditional carol service included an address by Reverend Paul Lowe and two solo renditions sung by Sam Marston from the Christine Sumner Academy of Music.
The celebration finished with a cup of tea and festive mince pies.
Reverend Ricarda Witcombe said: “We will be carol singing in the hospital on Tuesday 23rd December from 2pm.
“If anyone is in the hospital on Christmas Day, we will be holding a Christmas service in the chapel at 10.30am.”
@nker radio recorded the service which will be played over the festive period on 1386am.
