“No need to be rushing around this Christmas’’!!
With everyone being extremely busy in the run up to Christmas, the ‘Barrow Boys’ at the George Eliot Hospital would like to help take the pressure off by allowing the people of Nuneaton to pre-order their hand-picked fruit and veg.
The stall will be open for business, as normal, each day until 24th Dec when the shop will shut at 3pm so just fill in an order form and collect at leisure!
All customers who have sent in an order form will receive a text to tell them that their Christmas fresh food package is ready for collection. All major debit/credit cards are accepted.
As an added Christmas treat, any customer who spends more than £20 on their Christmas order will receive a dozen locally-baked minced pies totally free of charge on collection.
And that’s not all! Each order will have a cloakroom ticket attached and the production of that ticket will enable the customer to redeem a 10% discount in January or February.
Following the festive break, the stall will be re-opening on Tuesday, January 20th 2015.
The order form can be collected from the hospital or downloaded from the George Eliot website http://www.geh.nhs.uk/visitors/barrow-boys/
The fruit and veg stall, initiated by the George Eliot Hospital Wellbeing Group, can be found by the main entrance to the Hospital. Staff, patients and visitors can use the stall to enable their recommended ‘5 a day’.
