Happy bouncing babies filled the Maternity building during this fantastic party which celebrated a year of parent education classes. Parents also had the opportunity to write the name of their baby on tiny hands and feet before displaying on a special baby tree.

The party was organised by the Maternity midwifery team who organise the parent education classes.

Midwife, Jane Pollock said: “The party was a lovely way to say thank you to all of the parents who attended our parent education classes and also a chance to see all of their gorgeous little babies.”

“Our classes are really popular with parents and following the success of today’s event we are already planning a party for 2016.”

Head of maternity, Alison Talbot said: “The party was a fantastic celebration enjoyed by everyone.”

“I would like to thank all the babies for being so good, their parents for coming along, our midwives who organised the event and everyone who provided donations.”
