Chaplaincy Support

The Chaplaincy team is committed to provide pastoral, spiritual and religious support and care to patients, their families and staff, promoting all that makes for well-being within the healthcare provided by the George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust.

We support all, regardless of faith and those without faith or belief.

As one example we have an All-Faith Prayer and Quiet Room which gives all people using the hospital close access to ablution facilities and to the Faith symbols and Holy Books which are so important for individual and community prayers.

The room was opened as a result of working closely with local Muslim, Sikh, Hindu and Christian groups.
