Mr Okojie graduated as a doctor from the University of Benin, Nigeria in 1981, and has worked extensively in the United Kingdom since 1991.
He finished his Specialist Training at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford and took up appointment as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust in March 2000.
He is a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and holds an Honours degree in Law from Coventry University.
He has been Lead Clinician for Gynaecological Oncology at the George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust since 2002 and played a key role in the establishment of the current Colposcopy Unit at the Trust. He also works as a generalist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist.
