PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service)
Here at the Trust we have our own Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS). This provides on the spot help and advice for patients, relatives and carers and is based in the main reception of the hospital.
PALS can:
- Resolve, wherever possible, as quickly as possible, any concerns you have regarding the hospital’s services.
- Try to answer any questions about your care and treatment in hospital.
- Provide information and advice on health care and direct you to other local health organisations or support groups that may be able to help.
- Help you to access the Trust’s formal complaints procedure if you are unhappy with any aspect of your care.
- Take forward any comments and suggestions about the hospital’s services so that they can be used, where appropriate, to improve these services.

- dropping into the office in main reception from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm (a voice-mail messaging service is available for out of hours calls)
