Bedworth United's mascot pops into George Eliot Hospital to surprise children with gifts

Generous representatives from Bedworth United Football Club visited George Eliot Hospital’s Chidren’s Assessment Unit in A&E this week to share presents with children.

Bedworth United club’s mascot Crocodile and staff members visited the busy unit to give out presents donated by staff, players and supporters of the club.

The organisers also left presents for children visiting the unit over Christmas.

Paediatric Lead Nurse, Leanne Clow said: “We would like to say thank you to everyone at Bedworth United for this lovely surprise for children who unfortunately need to visit  A&E over the Christmas holidays.”

Bedworth United is in the Northern Premier League Southern Division.
