The benefits of work experience for you are:
1) To provide an introduction to work habits, such as attendance requirements and working conditions as well as providing training in basic communication skills.
2) To demonstrate the huge variety of jobs both clinical and non clinical- within the NHS and increase the awareness of what’s involved in delivering healthcare.
3) To provide work experience for those considering clinical careers, work experience is a vital component of your higher education course application.
The purpose of the Work Experience Project is to provide you with experience of how the NHS Trust functions from both a support and clinical point of view.Generally the work experience will be consecutive days and will be based in the same setting.
We will try our best to match your requirements to the placements that we offer but this will not be guaranteed. Please note that some department do have age restrictions.
