Bowel cancer patients are invited to join a free support group hosted by the team of clinical nurse specialist nurses from the George Eliot Hospital.
The group meet the fourth Tuesday of every month from 6 -8pm in the George Eliot Hospital Training and Education Centre (GETEC).
Patients can share their experiences and offer valuable support to each other.
Colorectal Nurse Specialist, Louise Roberts said: “It is vitally important that colorectal cancer patients feel supported following their diagnosis.
“By coming together with others, patients can ask questions and learn from each other.”
Patients interested in joining the group can contact 024 7615 3126 or 0771 772 7572. Alternatively, email firstname.lastname@example.org
Patients are reminded that the support group does not replace their usual appointments.
